About Me

I focus my research on the intersections of US Public Policy and constructs of race, gender, and class, carefully considering how patterns of marginalization manifest in policy formulation, as well as strategies marginalized communities can employ to better advocate for their unique needs. I teach multiple courses including, but not limited to: Black Americans and the Political System, Women and Public Policy, Environmental Policy in the US, Research Design, Intro to Public Policy, and The Politics of Congress.
