About Me

Both a practitioner and academic, I work on global environmental politics. I study why and how social movement engage with international negotiations on environmental issues. I also explore why environmental treaties turn out the way they do, and the effects that may (or may not) have for the environment.

I’ve reported from over 25 UN negotiations for environmental issues, including climate change talks leading to the Paris Agreement, and hazardous chemicals and wastes negotiations.
