About Me

I am a PhD candidate at Birkbeck College, University of London studying political leadership, in particular how perceptions of leadership may vary in the media and in voters’ opinions according to the leaders’ gender. My most recent work addressed how candidates’ parenthood may affect leadership campaigns.

My research focuses on British political leadership although I have knowledge of international examples, especially the US.  I also have an interest in wider British politics and gender and politics.
