About Me

I am currently a Research Assistant Professor at George Mason University in the Schar School of Policy and Government. I teach courses in policy analysis, program evaluation and ethics.  My edited volumes, Conflicts in Health Policy (Westphalia Press 2013) and Disaster Response (Westphalia Press 2015) examine policy areas aimed at improving public health outcomes.  My latest article is ‘Reproductive Policy and the Social Construction of Motherhood’ in Politics and the Life Sciences (2016).

I also serve as Co-Editor of World Medical & Health Policy, an academic journal published by Wiley-Blackwell http://www.wileyonlinelibrary.com/journal/wmhp
