About Me

Dr. A. Burcu Bayram is an assistant professor of political science. She received her Ph.D. from the Ohio State University in 2011 with specializations in International Relations, Political Psychology, and Interdisciplinary Survey Research.

Her research interests are at the intersection of international organization and law, political psychology, survey and experimental methods. Her research applies insights from psychology and behavioral economics to the study of international relations with a focus on international cooperation and global governance.

Her articles have been published or are forthcoming in International Organization, Review of International Organizations, European Journal of International Relations, Journal of European Public Policy, Foreign Policy Analysis, Journal Human Values, German Politics and Society, and International Journal of Interdisciplinary Civic and Political Studies.

Dr. Bayram is also the 2016 recipient of an international research fellowship from the Center for Global Cooperation Research (University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany).  She regularly teaches Introduction to International Relations, Politics of International Law and Compliance, Political Psychology of International Politics, and Theories of International Relations.
