About Me

I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Center for the Study of Democratic Politics at Princeton University. I hold a bachelors degree in government and history from Dartmouth College, a law degree from Harvard Law School and a doctorate degree in political science from Columbia University. I live in New York City.

My research focuses broadly on the institutional development of the American administrative state and in applying quantitative techniques to the study of legal issues and American institutions. My work is interdisciplinary in nature, incorporating elements from law, political science, statistics and history. Thematically, I am interested in studying how political actors influence institutional structure and bureaucratic agency decision-making. I seek to explore topics relating to the intersection of institutional design and bureaucratic/legislative politics. In addition, I work on projects applying network analysis to enhance our understanding of legal issues.
