About Me

I am a Brazilian PhD student and master in Political Science. I also hold a bachelor degree in Social Sciences. I am currently studying the impact of the mandatory voting law on the electoral accountability in Latin America through the punishment of incumbents and their parties. I am also interested about topics concerning the impact of political institutions on political behaviour and the public opinion, as well the discussion and conceptualization of democracy and its connection with political participation. I have recently become a member of a podcast called “Dragões de Garagem”, which aims at making science more popular in Brazil.
