I am a PhD candidate at the University of Warwick, studying the role of opposition parties in 'hybrid' regimes, focusing on Uganda and Burkina Faso as case studies. My research interests are political parties and participation, regime types, and transitions. I am also a research consultant at AREA Consulting (www.area-consulting.co.uk) with experience looking at peace-building, participation, and migration issues in the Sahel. I am currently based in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
