My Research:

My scholarship lies at the intersection of reproductive technologies, women’s health, US politics and policy, and feminist bioethics. My book, Between Families and Frankenstein: The Politics of Egg Donation in the United States, was published in June 2018 by the University of California Press. This work was recently featured in the Washington Post. I teach and mentor students in gender and politics, state politics, public policy, feminist theory, and reproductive ethics at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
