My Research:

I am principal investigator of the project GENDEREDPSYCHE (ref PID2019-107445GB-I00) funded by the AEI, which analyses psychological mechanisms contributing to explain why women are more distant from the political realm than men from a comparative perspective and using an experimental approach. I am also part of the team selected (in an open competition amongst European researchers) for the round 11 rotating module of the ESS entitled: Gender in contemporary Europe: Rethinking Equality and the Backlash (with Susan Banducci, Hilde Coffe, Jessica Fortin-Rittberger, and Amy Alexander). This module aims to explore attitudes towards feminine and masculine identities, sexism, gender discrimination and gender equality. I am also beneficiary of the ERC project TWICEASGOOD: Twice as hard, half as good? Women's candidate experience of sexism on the campaign trail (ref. 101019284) directed by Susan Banducci where I am responsible of the Spanish case study
