Country: United States (North Carolina)

About Me:

I am a visiting assistant professor at Duke Law. My research focuses on the ways in which market competition advances gender equality, as well as women’s representation in politics and the judiciary. My research has been published in Legislative Studies Quarterly, Perspectives on Politics (with Danielle Thomsen), The Connecticut Public Interest Law Journal (with Jane Wettach), the Houston Journal of Health Law & Policy and the UCLA Journal Gender & Law. My dissertation, "Partisan Bridging and its Gendered Dimensions," was funded by a National Science Foundation Dissertation Grant.
I received my PhD in 2019 and my JD in 2021, both from Duke University. Following law school, I clerked on the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals for the Honorable Judge Gerald E. Tjoflat and then practiced in the McDermott, Will & Emery antitrust practice group in Washington D.C.
