I am an Assistant Professor of Government and Legal Studies at Bowdoin College. I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from The Ohio State University in 2014.

I study American Politics with specialization in Political Psychology and Race and Ethnic Politics.  My published work can be found in the American Political Science Review and Politics, Groups, and Identities.  My research has also been featured on media outlets including Vox’s Mischiefs of Faction.
