About Me:

I have been involved in politics since I was 6 years old and my uncle ran for state representative in Pennsylvania. I do not always like talking about politics and civility, but it is a necessary conversation. I live in Nixa, Missouri with my husband and four leopard geckos and enjoy teaching more than any other activity as I always learn as well as teach. I continue to study political talk and how individuals create themselves as part of or outside of the political system. I also have an interest in rhetoric and often teach theory as well as practice rhetorical criticism.
I am particularly interested in helping the public understand the role politics plays in their lives and helping them navigate being a part of our Republic. I also teach classes in social movements, media and change, and political campaigns.
