About Me:

I am a PhD candidate at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). My research interests focus on public opinion, modernization theory, and cultural democratization with an emphasis on East Asia. My dissertation looks at democratic reactions from the middle class in six countries: China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, and Vietnam. In my spare time, I like to research on issues that serve the political science discipline, particularly in regards to gender representation.
