My Research:

Princess’ research primarily investigates how geographic residence and culture impact American political behavior. Her dissertation explores the way in which sub-national identities are developed overtime and whether they inform Americans' attitudes about politics across location, with a specific focus on Black Americans. Her work attempts to provide insight on why geography distinguishes American public opinion and behavior.
