Foreign Policy Analysis
I work on exploring broader national security strategies that make governments work with non-state violent actors. I am interested in researching why governments are increasingly choosing this tactic, and by doing so, shaping their relations with their allies or rivals. I am also interested in exploring what organizational and ideological aspects motivate or allow non-state violent actors to work with states that sponsor or support them in any capacity.
